Does the Saturday vigil Mass fulfill the Sunday obligation?

At our parish there is a Saturday night Mass that is run just like the Sunday morning Mass. I like attending the Saturday Mass because it is so peaceful and less crowded. Am I fulfilling my Sunday Mass obligation by attending the Saturday Mass?

Yes.
§1 The obligation of assisting at Mass is satisfied wherever Mass is celebrated in a Catholic rite either on a holy day itself or on the evening of the previous day (canon 1248, Code of Canon Law).

According to this canon, you may fulfill your Sunday obligation at any eucharistic liturgy celebrated according to a Catholic rite either on Sunday or on the preceding Saturday afternoon or evening.
