Does the TV coverage on the trump administration wear on you?

what happened on the last episode of “Gilligan’s Island”
Do you mean the actual last episode, or the made-for-TV movie where the Harlem Globetotters competed in a basketball game against an army of evil killer robots for ownership of the island?

My favorite was the original Josie and the Pussycats. The original Scooby Doo was awesome as well. Between that and American Top 40 on the radio every Sunday, Casey Kasem was like a member of my family.

You know my mom had to drag me out of bed to get to school on time, but goshdarnit, I managed to wake up at 6 or 6:30 for those Saturday morning cartoons! And I watched them straight through until 11:00, when it shifted back into normal programming.

I bet you anyone who watched cartoons in the 80’s can look at a schedule like this and tell you exactly what their morning lineup was. (Fall 1983: Shirt Tales/PacMan/The Littles or Alvin and the Chipmunks. Spring 1985: Snorks and the Get-Along Gang or SuperFriends, Muppet Babies, Smurfs/Bugs/Alvin depending on the episode, maybe a few minutes of Kidd Video before the tv got turned off.) Just like how any kid in the 80’s or 90’s could tell you what after-school cartoons they watched (She-Ra!), or what their favorite Disney Afternoon lineup was (Gummi Bears/Chip n Dale/Tale Spin/Darkwing Duck). I just went and looked at tomorrow’s Saturday tv schedule… yeah, ho-hum, especially if you don’t have pay-tv.

Let him do his job!
He could do his job, if he was not so obsessed about what the News outlets say about him. He is his own worst enemy.

All Trump has to do is turn the TV off.
He is doing a good job, but the left wants to criticize him for everything.

I don’t watch TV news at home.

I watch all the Science Fiction Stuff, in dvr mode so I can fast forward thru the commericals.

I watch ESPN and the SEC Network.

I find YouTube is much better. I am in control of what I watch and I can find more reflective and intelligent presenters. (of course there is lot of rubbish but if you don’t watch those channels then it is not a problem).

It’s not the media coverage of the administration that wears on me so much; it’s the administration itself. 😦

Me too. I watch TV. Like American pickers. Unsolved mysteries. Pawn stars.

would they let kids beat each other with sticks today? no one walked away without at least one welt.
My mom told me back when she was young in the 1930s, the kids would play “war”, form up teams and throw rocks at each other. Some poor kid eventually got killed. Other than being terribly sad, I don’t think it raised much of a public outcry.

I agree, but I don’t mind the Ingraham Angle and Hannity isn’t too bad. CNN and their kind are so bad though, it’s just painfully obvious their lies such as when James O’Keefe or The Center for Medical Progress has undeniable proof of recorded events and CNN and their kind put out so many fallacies and lies trying to discourage people from even seeing the proof.

God Bless You

Me too, the scary part is that youtube is very bad too, so they will soon start deleting certain videos. When things like RT (Russia Today) or any of those start to disappear from youtube, you know that it has turned into propaganda. I’ll get what I can from them in the mean time though.

Just as long as I can get full unedited speeches from those like Putin, Trump and others on different matters.

God Bless You

Thank you for reading.

I don’t trust any tv news. CNN is sensational garbage, and so is Fox with their Trump worship.

He belongs to the party that holds majority in both houses of Congress. The media isn’t preventing him from doing his job.
