Does the Vatican know about Catholic Answers?

Did Pope John Paul II or has our current Pope, Benedict XVI, ever made a comment regarding Catholic Answers? Were they, or are they, aware of Catholic Answers existence? I hope so. GREAT web site and forums! Thank you.
 
I cannot speak to our current Holy Father’s knowledge, or lack of knowledge, of Catholic Answers’ existence; but in the early nineties Karl Keating had the privilege of meeting John
Paul II and presenting the Pope with copies of This Rock magazine and a copy of Karl’s book Catholicism and Fundamentalism. Karl reported that John Paul “said he was pleased lay people are involved in spreading the faith, and he encouraged us in our work.” For more information about that visit, please see the article linked below.
