The so-called Celtic Orthodox Church is not associated with any canonical Eastern Orthodox body. They are not part of Holy Orthodoxy.

Sounds more like fundamentalist Protestantism to me. I wonder whether that group is not merely an irish fundamentalist group that wears the name “orthodox” in order to emphasize that they believe they have correct teaching.

Most vagante groups seem to derive from Anglicans on a trajectory of some sort.

Of course they have to get their ordinations from somewhere, but for Orthodox there is no apostolic succession outside of the church. That idea is western and we do not subscribe to it.

I note that this person claims to be a western rite Orthodox. The person who owns this website might have originally been a Roman Catholic or an Episcopalian or something. He might even agree with a lot of Orthodox ideas (they can be very sensible and appealing) but this is not an authentic Orthodox website and should be avoided.

It is not canonical.

If one is interested in reading from Orthodox websites (even if only to learn about the ‘enemy’) there are ways to find them. One would be to find an Orthodox parish on the locator and read what it says about itself. Another might be to go to Monachos. Also the OCA has a place for questions and the Antiochian Orthodox have a set of articles.

First time I seen this. Aside from the idea of the EO, all churchs who follow Christ proclaim to be the One True path.

What else could they state? Follow us the false path to Christ?

That site is so anti-Catholic, and so anti-Orthodox…and so hypocrytical! They quote the Vatican, also many Orthodox patriarchs!
