Does watching Mass on TV fulfill The Sunday Obligation?

My Grandmother told me one Sunday she was just to tired to get up and go to Mass, so she watched Mass on TV. She also included that she rarely does this. Was it a sin for her to do this?

Also, she said that her mother sometimes didn’t attend Mass because nobody lived with her as far as I know and it would be very hard for her to walk. There was a bus near here house but I think even that was hard to get to? Was this a sin?
