I am curious how many people in this forum have insurance through a company which allows for abortions.

I work for the city. If I needed to get an abortion, my insurance would only pay for a small percentage. I would be paying most of the cost.

My main interest is how upset people are over the possibility of government money going to abortions through health insurance subsidies. In reality I suspect that many people currently do have insurance plans (through an employer) that offer some coverage for abortions. This to me is incongruous. With government subsidies you may actually be able to afford a plan that does not cover abortions.

No, I am on a state subsidized plan/medicaid which does not cover abortions.

Mine does plus it covers all sorts of other immoral things.Like IVF, various contraceptive treatments for example . Nothing I can do about it.

Yes, mine does. I live in Indiana and I have Medicaid. It covers abortion but only for cases of rape, incest, molestation, and for the life and possibly of health of the mother.
