The color of the burse and veil should match the liturgical color of the day ( the color vestments that the priest is wearing)

it can also be white, according to the GIRM.

You’re at the Cathedral parish aren’t you? Do they use glass vessels? I ask because I was a the cathechetical conference last year and at the closing Mass they used glass vessels and the Archbishop fractured the bread at the consecration. Needless to say I was more than a little shocked.

Thank you for this. I know that although we are living through sad times, this is the time and circumstance appointed for us. Our job is to pray and sacrifice and suffer in the same spirit as Christ’s. And there are signs of encouragement.

we had a parish Preist who had Chalice Veil? with matching stole semi Gothic style Chasuble, Stole, Maniple, Chalice Veil & Burse and tabernacle curtain and two drapes
