Does your non-Catholic church teach that contraception is sinful?

It has a very long section later about abortion in any form being evil.

All that said I had to look it up online cause I have never heard the AoG position preached from the pulpit either for or against. I don’t think I have ever heard it taught either way in any non-denominational churches or Vineyard either.
 
In Orthodox Judaism, birth control is frowned upon. The only times it is allowed (and each case is regarded individually by the rabbi) is if a pregnancy might endanger the mother’s life or health.

I did a search to try to find a synagogue link about this, and while looking for it, found this:

I’m confused…unless this former priest converted to a liberal form of Judaism, his reason for leaving Catholicism (their stand on birth control) puzzles me, because Orthodox Judaism is ALSO against birth control!

Are there other branches of AoG that teach differently? Do any teach similar to the Catholic Church?

Thanks for the link.

While reading this info, I came across this totally unrelated quote about converts which is very familiar to Catholics.

I don’t know of any other “branches of the AoG.” that statement was from the AG website. both my current church titled “Assembly of God” and a previous one “First Assembly of God” referred to that website for official things and were members of the same group.

basically it boils down to my own beliefs about it: Any Contraception with potential to abort a child is a sin to use, and it could be sin if the motives for using the contraceptive are wrong (ie simply cause you don’t feel like having kids.)

While the Catholic Church has a much stricter stance on it, I don’t think they are that much different in the point… Life is sacred, sex is for married people to share together, God should be in charge of Family planning.
