Does your parish offer daily weeknight Masses?

We have weekday Mass Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:00 a.m. and on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The Wednesday evening Mass can get a decent crowd. I assume it’s because the working people can actually make it to that one. 8:00 a.m. during the week is usually when most people are at work or on their way.

I suppose I am very spoiled. My parish has evening masses every day of the week. Currently, it’s 5:30 pm, MWF, so it works for many people getting off work. On Tuesday, Thursday, it’s changed to 9:00 pm specifically to make a mass that will be more predominantly attended by the college students.

There are 3 churches within a 10 minute bike ride from where I live and another parish, about 15 minutes by car.

It’s easy to take good things for granted.

We have 10 Masses every Sunday. Monday to Saturday 2 Masses every morning and 1 every evening.

Probably even more. Ours have three Sunday masses and three priests.

I went to the 7 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales this evening. The priest says they usually get about 20 for that Mass but it seemed less than that on this occasion.

I did see an old coworker (who is now retired). We chatted for a bit.
