My regular Parish (outside where I live; much more traditional) = no.

The Parish where I live (attended today) = yes. Funny experiance, they were holding hands during the “Our father” (done in English, I said it in Latin anyway) and this lady grabs my hand out of no where. I don’t appreciate that. I’m united with the Church spiritually, no need to be my mother. So I break free and I re-continue having my hands pressed together and I continue to pray. Weird experiance. Forceful at this Parish I see! :amen:

No, Thank God

But a bullish deacon I know tries to grab my hand and if does he raises it up and rocks my arm to punctauate his idea of what is important during the prayer. 😦

God Bless

The priests used to hold hands. When Bishop Sheridan became the Bishop, he sent a representative to each parish in the diocese to take note of the differences in relation to each other and to the rubrics, and to provide 3-day seminar on the liturgy. The priests no longer hold hands.
