Doesn't the Connecticut plan to remove Pastors and Archbishops from their parishes and run them by a board of directors sound like Communism?

EXCLUDING OUR PASTORS AND THE ARCHBISHOP and replacing with board committees…

Our Parish has just been informed : the Judiciary Committee of The Connecticut State Legislature, plans to disconnect parishes from their Pastors and their Bishop, by focring a radical reorganization of the legal, financial, and administrative structure of parishes…AND ONLY CATHOLIC CHURCHES …(stated)
Parishes would be run by boards from which Pastors and the Archbishop would be EFFECTIVELY EXCLUDED!

This Wednesday, March 11th a public hearting will be held at the Legislative Office Bldg.

Isn’t this how the communist countries run their churches??? :signofcross:

It is when churches are allowed to exist at all. I encourage all who read this to pray for the Church in Connecticut!
