Dog In Pain

Hi everyone,

When my dog woke up this morning he was experiencing some neck pain. He was perfectly fine yesterday. Now, he is having trouble lifting his head all the way above his shoulders. He can still lift his head, but the highest it can go without any discomfort is just about his shoulder-height where his head is in-line with his body, not much higher.

He still eats normally, drinks normally, and jumps on the couch/bed as usual, but when it comes to say looking up at a treat/dog food (that is being held in my hand) that is directly above his head he is unable to look all the way up as he normally would.

I would like to ask for prayers that it is nothing serious and that he recovers quickly. I ask for prayers for God’s healing over him, as well as for all animals especially pets.

For the wee pooch although sounds like a muscle strain…and for you… Let him rest please
 
For heaven’s sake, take him to the vet.
St. Francis, keep him well.
 
Prayers for your dog … if you can afford it you should try to take him to a vet.
 
Praying to St. Francis for your pet’s health. Please take him to a Vet.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Pray3x’s Dog. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Pray3x’s Dog’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Hi everyone, here is an update on his status:

He is feeling better than before, however the vet might suspect that it might possibly be a slight mild case of ivdd (intervertebral disc disease).

As of right now, we put him on a restriction of any physical activity, in addition to some prescribed medications.

I would sincerely like to ask for continued prayers that this doesn’t get any worse, and that he will get better and make a full recovery. I am an only child, and although I am in 20s, I consider him my true brother and he is the only brother I have left now that my other dog passed away last Christmas.

I am glad that you have a diagnosis so you know what is going on. I understand how you feel. I have had cats that mean so much to me, Francesca and Sheba Sue in particular. I still cry over their deaths.

Dear Father God, please hold Pray 3x’s dog in your loving arms. You gave us pets to comfort and cheer us. I pray that this loving dog be restored to health and continue to bring joy to Pray 3x’s life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
