That’s cool. I would love to see one. I wonder why our Dominicans don’t do one here.
I had the privilege of attending one at the Church of St Vincent Ferrer in NYC. It was awesome and the church was full of very curious people!

The Dominicans in Portland, Oregon have the reputation as being a most solid center of Orthodoxy for the Northwest. They are likewise very open minded, humorous, and are quick to correct any excesses of any kind. That doesn’t mean, however, that there are those who in their own ways contradict whatever teaching by the good friars.

The theology that has come out of the Rosary Center is superb.
This is the church I attend and I absolutely LOVE it. Living in Portland is extremely difficult because of all the “progressive” Catholics (their words, not mine) so when I attend Mass at Holy Rosary I feel spiritually uplifted and at home. 👍 I can’t recommend this church enough. Anyone living in or around Portland should absolutely check it out.

Old joke: The Dominicans were founded to combat the heresy of Albigensianism. The Jesuits were founded to combat the heresy of Protestantism. When’s the last time you met an Albigensian? 😃
👍👍👍

What you should do is study the Catechism of the Catholic Church and meditate on the Nicene Creed and the Apostles Creed. If you see something that contradicts what the Church teaches then ignore it. The Dominicans are a large community. They have all kinds of people. Let the objective magisterial teaching of the Catholic church be your guide.
:):)🙂
