Does anybody know if Domino’s current corporate management under Bain capital is still Catholic like the founder was? I am thinking about applying there for a job.

Why would that affect your job application? If they are Catholic, well and good, and if not, they could still be perfectly good managers to work for. As they are not a Church organization, mentioning your faith or theirs in any application process would be entirely unprofessional in any case.

If somebody feels the need to work for a Catholic Employer that’s certainly their right. It won’t (or shouldn’t anyways) get them special privileges in the work place, but certainly it is valid to have a concern for the faith or religion of the company owner that you work for.

If nothing else it could lead to some peace of mind that the company is not going to be supporting things that you do not agree with, say for example, Planned Parenthood. Many companies have dress down days or other types of fund raisers to donate to organizations etc.

While an employer isn’t able to discriminate on religious beliefs a potential employee certainly does no wrong in preferring to work for an organization that will support their beliefs.

The OP never mentioned any intent to mention their faith on their resume.

I don’t know if the current management is catholic or not. But on the Domino’s farm headquarters there is a charismatic catholic church(Christ the King), our local am catholic station, the local Mi Right to Life Offices, a chapel, and a catholic book store. And close by a catholic high school, a convent and (I think) a catholic hospice home. I’m not sure how much control Tom Monahan has of the Domino’s Farm complex still, but it’s a pretty big catholic area at least, and if you were to work there you’d have a lot of opportunities to further your faith.

Thank you for the information, I think I will apply at the local store, that all sounds good to me. Better than where I work, not enough catholics! God Bless.

I’m pretty sure that Domino’s is a franchise organization. You will work at a store that is owned by someone who may or may not be Catholic. If working for a Catholic org is important to you, seek out your parish, your Diocese, a Catholic school or Catholic bookstore.
