Doreen Virtue (ex-Hays House/ex-'new age') ok to read?

The now-former ‘new age’ author has gone full-fledged Christian:

Is it possible she could eventually find her way to Rome, like Anne Rice did? (That’s the go-to comparison a lot of naysayers are saying.)

Thanks for posting this. I’m very glad to see Doreen abandoning her new-age practices. She even got baptized into the Episcopal Church. This is great news. She was a (bad) influence on many, many people, leading them down a dark path. She posted a video on YouTube describing her conversion experience. It’s pretty amazing.

Regarding whether or not it’s OK to read her works, personally I would steer clear.

Her Twitter feed is still full of images of her cards – and although they have more Christian images, they still seem to be something people would use for a sort of divination. “What is God offering me today? I’ll pull a card and see.”

And check out her website if you want to see what she currently believes, practices, and teaches:

So in answer to your question on whether Doreen’s writings are OK to read – NO!!!

Stay away from this New Age garbage. Stick with the writings of solid Catholic authors and the Saints.

Thanks to the OP for posting this, and thank you for posting the video. I enjoyed it. Especially the part where Jesus showed her that he is not an “Ascended Master,” but a part of the Trinity. I hope ‘New Agers’ will turn to the True Jesus and come to believe through her new ministry.

I think she herself might have some growing to do as she reconciles her ‘old ministry’ with her new, so we can pray for her in that.

The last part of the video was the best in which she leads people in prayer asking for Jesus to reveal himself, to come into hearts and change lives.

Great Question: Doreen Virtue is still very much in the new age & she is still an author & speaker with Hay House.

Doree Virtue is deceiver & she has openly come out against Churches who do not accept homosexuality & female priests.
She chose the Episcopal Church because as she said they accept all ways of life.
I think she thought they would tolerate her hustling people as a Christin in the name of angels & Christ while a formal member of their church.

I on 9/14/2017 reported via email to the Bishop of Hawaii of the Episcopal church ( RT Rev. Robert Fitzpatrick, , ) & to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Hawaii along with a few others to include Hay House CEO Reid Tracy evidence of the clearly wrong & crazy thing she has put out before 2017 that I could find & her multiple claims of seeing & hearing Jesus…

I let the Bishop of the Episcopal Church know that Virtue was using their church name & so too was Hay House publishing to promote her while they made her claims she had a real Jesus experience & there was clear proof of fraud tied to her. This week Hay House took down Doreen Virtue’s affiliation to the Episcopal Church from her Hay House bio. I let the Bishop know if he let her use his Church’s denomination to scam Christians it was his failure as a Bishop to do his job to protect the Body of Christ & to protect those of his denomination.

Please not Doreen Virtue does not promote any of her ex-husbands ( any of the four of them ) on her website at this time.

Michael David Virtue is not her ex-husband but her current 5th husband.
Her 2nd ex-husband was also named Michael but his real surname was Virtue whereas this current guys’ real surname is Robinson. If Virtue took her current so-called husband’s last name she would be Mrs. Robinson.
Doreen Virtue’s current spouse’s legal name before he married her was Michael David Robinson.
Doreen Virtue posted pictures stating she had married the current guy but she has not bothered to update her Wikipedia page.
Who knows if she made it legal or is she just had a religious ceremony.

Having your 5th spouse use your stage last name which is your 2nd ex spouse’s legal surname, arouses fewer suspicions from those who don’t know the backstory than people realizing one has 4 failed marriages & 5 marriages all while one claimed to hear angels of God. You can imagine if most the people she tried to sell claims to realized she had more failed Marriage than Donald Trump they would laugh.

Her last ex-husband was Steven Farmer who was a Hay House author until he decided to leave her.
Doreen Virtue in one video seemingly falsely told her fans that her ex-spouse got everything in their divorce as in all the property … all the money … all their savings. That is not what happens in California in divorce.

I am begining to be very confused by this format. I agreed with Gertabelle, and responded by thanking her for the information and that Doreen Virtue needs our prayers.

If my inability to communicate with this new format continues to cause me anguish about not being understood I may have to just quit the forum.
