I was at St Nicholas OCA for Festal Vigil. When we went outside with the Dormition icon there were incredible luminous white clouds in a perfect Marian blue sky. I think everyone’s jaw dropped. Truly awesome. S prazdnikom! 👍

Second day of the Spasivka (Dormition Fast) for those of us on the Old Calendar…Blessed feast to all on the Gregorian Calendar!!! Most Holy Mother of God, save us.
 
O God, who hast taken unto Thyself the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Thy incarnate Son: Grant that we, who have been redeemed by His blood, may share with her the glory of Thine eternal kingdom; through the same Thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, world without end. Amen.
 
The angels were struck with amazement beholding the dormition of the Most Pure seeing how the Virgin was taken up from earth to heaven.
