Dorothy Day was an amazing person, one of those rare individuals who are selfless leaders. Her voice was an important one, and an inspirational one. But it was also a challenging voice which was too Catholic for those on the left and too radical for those on the right.

She may well be a saint, as indicated in the caption of the illustration in the first post. However, its probably worth noting that currently her status is “Servant of God.” I only mention this only because I don’t want anyone to be misled by the caption.
