Manfred;:
We can’t forget something we never knew; from whence cometh this information?
I’ve forgotten the title of the USCCB publication, but it was in the material I studied to become a priest.
I’m not grasping the sense of your last statement. Please re-phrase.
The Anglican communion has been torn asunder by a number of doctrinal and theological issues, over the last forty years.

One faction considers that the 1979 Book of Common Prayer was created by the devil, for the purpose of converting faithful Anglicans to the worship of Satan. Whilst that faction is fairly small, it is significant enough to influence what both independent, and parish-run Anglican bookstores carry. As such, the more Anglican congregations in an area, that adhere to that theology there are, the more likely the local Anglican bookstore will carry the 1769 KJVA.

That approval was as much a reflection of the dominance of the KJV outside of Catholic Christianity. Doctrinally, the KJV was closer to the DR, than other translations of the Bible were.

That USCCB accepts the KJV unofficially is actually a redundancy!

USCCB does not have an Apostolical teaching charism, like say a Council of Bishops, or a Bishop alone in his Diocese. The USCCB is strictly an administrative body for the benefit of the Bishops themselves.
// this is a joke right??? more likely a bad joke right??? the authorized version accepted or approved by the usccb???
:ehh:
