The real world is complex and not everything can be reduced to a black and white rule. The teachings on modesty don’t prescribe the length of dresses or the acceptable swimming attire.

On such matters, the Church teaches principles. If your informed conscience is clear that you are acting in accord with the principles, you have nothing to worry about.
