Dove of Peace bible?

I have a New American Bible that says Dove of Peace, under that it has Catholic edition. What does this mean? I just found out this was a NAB bible, I thought Dove of Peace was some other translation, but what does this mean? I use it as my personal bible.
 
If it’s the NAB then it’s a good bible. My guess based on a quick Google search is it is a standard NAB in a new cover.

So long as it has the Imprimatur and the Nihil Obstat and all 72 books of the Bible then you’re in good shape.

But weren’t the 1991 psalms rejected for liturgical use? How can I know which one I have?

That doesn’t really matter. That just means they can’t be used in mass. They’re still allowed for study and devotion. You won’t really find the original NAB in print anymore. Also, the original NT was pretty bad compared to its 1984 revision.

^ that’s the 1991 revision.

That’s the one you probably have. Don’t worry though, its not condemned by the Vatican.

If you’re still worried about the Psalms, get a RSV-CE, JB, or Douay-Rheims

The NJB and NRSV also have inclusive language so if that’s the problem avoid them as well.
