I just ran accross Dr Kreeft.​

Next to the Bible, Dr Kreeft says that ‘Mere Christianity’ by CS Lewis is most important.​

He says that after the Gospels that a new believer should read ‘Mere Christianity’.

I like Dr. Kreeft. I like Lewis.

I predict that some here will have a disagreement with the good Doctor, though.

I ran across Dr. Kreeft about three to four years ago when I was in the process of converting to the Catholic Church. I like him, though not as much as I like C.S. Lewis. And neither as much as I like Chesterton :o

I have nothing against Mere Christianity. I found it to be a very helpful book during my conversion and I would recommend it to anyone converting to Christianity in general or Catholicism in particular. Kreeft’s *Handbook Book of Christian Apologetics *isn’t too bad either.

Was there a question to this thread Dokimas?
