Dreams - Why would I dream this?

The Church has canonised saints like Saint Joan of Arc who based their decisions on their dreams…

I deliberately refrained from telling her it meant something else abstract. It is her brain, not yours, so who are you to say it means nothing? I am not the one throwing in non-relevant bible quotes and examples. There is no reason to assume an ordinary thought, impression, dream, emotion, etc. has a supernatural source until all natural explanations have been ruled out and 99% of dreams are just natural brain activity.

As the only one who used Biblical quotes, I presume you are knocking on me here. So I ask you: how are those lines irrelevant? Maybe it is just me, but I thought that they clearly showed that God does indeed communicate with us through dreams.
Further, if 99% of dreams are natural brain activity, then that means 1% are supernaturally sponsored. What you are saying is that about 3 dreams per year are Divine intervention. Multiply that by the roughly 7,000,000,000 people on earth, and you get 21 billion Divine events per year. Seems no small number to me.

Most dreams are not messages from God. We must be careful with interpretation of dreams. If a dream is repeated, it may be from God. If it is very vivid, It may be from God. In such cases, interpretation must not be made by any individual, Either dreamer or one other jperson. Much prayer is necessary to truely discern if it is a message from God. There is safety in numbers when interpreting dreams. There are some who have learned this over many years working with those known to be used by God for dream interpretation. In many years working with dream interpretation, I will not interpret without confirmation form one or more people I know are being used by God for dream interpretation. Many times the dreams presented, and deemed to be messages, have been born out to be true by events occurring weeks or months after the dream is received and interpreted.

As a cradle Catholic, I believed I was taught dealing with dreams was playing in the Devil’s workshop. An unusual and extraordinary experience with dreams was a mind blowing experience. I was asked to listen to the dream. I did so, thinking it would get it off the person’s mind and then be forgotten. However, I began seeing the dream and receiving an explanation of the dream while it was being related to me. It was the first time something like this happened to me. The dream indicated the party needed to turn from sin, or go to jail. It was a very disturbing experience. I had to find out if this was true. I sought confirmation, something I never thought I would do, and it was confirmed. I gave the interpretation. Within two years the individual was sent to jail exactly as revealed in the dream because he ignored the interpretation.

Not all dreams I have worked with had the significance of this first one, but time has proved most of them true. I didn’t choose to do this work, God chose me. Should I tell God NO???

Dreams are a chaotic mess and mean nothing.

Nor are we responsible for the content of dreams.

Never worry about dreams. It’s a waste of time.

Never worry about dreams? What about the dream that Joseph had about being warned to run with Mary and Baby Jesus? It is a good thing Joseph listened to his dream, he saved both Mother Mary and the Baby Jesus, i think it better to ignore what you say here.
