The ice cream thread was really just a veiled attempt at asking why masturbation was wrong Things are not what they at first appear always.

Oh yea I didn’t read it because it just seemed it is dumb. Yea there are many single guys on this site looking for a loophole in the masturbation is wrong thing. I mean as a new member I have seen so many damn threads on it. It really fits addict thinking I know was not happy when I found out it was wrong, but I read on it and now understand why. Also, there a lot of threads looking off or was to engage in “other actives” with ones wife. So it seems like most people on the site are looking for ways around things and the others are overly harsh. Here are a lot of good people that give good info on this site but people need to chill out. I was asking to try and see if I had gone astray because I am trying to move in the right direction.

Glad to know you’re still around and are trying to move in the right direction. I wish more college students were like you!

I will leave you with these words of Jesus Christ Himself: “I tell you, on the day of judgment people will render an account for every careless word they speak.” (Matthew 12:36) You’ll notice He didn’t just say “every word.” He said, “every careless word.” That’s an awful lot to live up to, and I know I myself need to work on what I say.

Hee, hee, I’m in that thread, too. I think you might be right about that thread. Eating ice cream (in moderation) a sin? Uh uh.
