Hello, I have found this on the web… I do not know if this is allowed… I do not want to do something that is wrong!

reasonandtheology . com/2020/03/16/missa-sicca-a-mass-for-the-laity/

If it is… Why aren’t the dioceses encouraging people to do it?

Thanks,
God Bless!

If it is… Why aren’t the dioceses encouraging people to do it?
Because: 1. A Dry Mass is not a Mass. The Eucharist is not consecrated, so it is not a Mass. 2. Dry Masses are used in seminary to help seminarians who are about to be ordained as priests be rehearsed in the liturgy so they have some practice before they start celebrating the real deal. They are not nor will they ever be replacements for Mass.
