Due limits mentioned in CCC 2106

CCC 2106 “Nobody may be forced to act against his convictions, nor is anyone to be restrained from acting in accordance with his conscience in religious matters in private or in public, alone or in association with others, within due limits.”

What are the due limits? I imagine it is the natural law and God’s law.

I think you are correct. For example, if someone’s religion demands human sacrifice, they don’t have a right to freely practice that religion.

I’m not sure what this has to do with Catholic tradition, though.

I’d say this thread probably belongs in Social Justice, or maybe even Morality or Philosophy. I also often have a hard time figuring out what belongs where, including in this case.
