If you have access to the Baltimore Catechism (#1 - #3) and the Catechism of St. Pius X, it will be very helpful for your family and fellow Catholics in your parish. The Catechism is written in a question and answer format, which is the traditional form of instruction. The answers are straightforward, easy to learn and to understand.The catechism teachers have to do a 1 years course and then another year of training as an assistant teacher and observer, before they can teach, besides the have to complete various Dayton courses to help them in their own understanding of The Catholic faith and it’s traditions.
For e.g. In comparison to ones who studied catechism before Vatican 2, the question #3 (below) has confounded so many children and adults who receive instruction from modern catechisms.
