I recall some leftist supporter of “Reparations” here at CAF was attempting to buffalo me into thinking there was no financial cost to “reparations”.

It was a ridiculous condescending attempt to fool me that I could not take serious then,
and will not take serious now.

I reminded him Catholics do not assert collective guilt (the genetic guilt paradigm is another ridiculous leftist idea and dovetails perfectly with the national leftist idea of defining people based upon the color of their skin which we have seen so many times by the leftist leaders).

Since it was almost exclusively Democrats who held slaves and fought to maintain slavery, they should pay it.

Both parties should be forced to give up all of their funds as reparations (and not just to black people) and then immediately dissolved.

For what reason? If you’re talking about the ongoing and ever increasing usurpation of power at the expense of individual rights at the central government level, I might consider it.
 
Here is yet another example of leftist bureaucrats making decisions based upon the color of people’s skin (which suggests to me again the reasons for their constant need for psychological projection in the areas of racism. Because deep down inside, they know it is their own racism they are battling).

It’s silly and won’t lead anywhere good. The nonsense about 'white male culture’s is astoundingly stupid.

We’ve already spent money on what could veritably be described as reparations. All this will do is open up racial controversies that are extremely hard to close again.
 
Sounds good. After white people cough up the $12 trillion, blacks are completely equal to whites and we no need longer affirmative action, civil rights laws, EEOC, or any other government program that works specifically on behalf of blacks right? They will be completely responsible for their own outcomes, right?
 
It will be interesting to see if this is followed by a lucrative deal to author a book.

At least one rioter in Chicago this week called looting the Nike store reparations. Do it yourself reparations do not need a new law, or debate, or morality. Just Do It.

I have no sympathy for Nike. They gave the race-baiting Colin Kaepernick a platform. Nike’s evil has fallen upon its own head.
