I don’t have a problem with the campaign.
I find your hypocrisy amusing and am considering getting a doughnut that I wouldn’t have normally purchased because it sounds amazing…😉
Because you don’t have a problem with campaign does not mean that others don’t and see this effort to fund cancer by using a vile giftcard inappropriate.

Why bother looking or posting on this thread at all then, just move on and let others who may be offended know about these cards.

Well, that’s not how the forums work. You post something others comment. Perhaps they don’t agree with you.
I think you are all in a tizzy about DD. Now, I don’t even purchase something from there but I don’t have a problem with the campaign. In fact I’ve seen that phrase other places and that t would probably be my motto if I had cancer. Regaurdless on if you like it or not, I still can’t get beyond the outrage you have for DD engaging in. Something you deem offensive when you literally did the same thing by linking to it!

Indeed, the people I know who use this expression have had cancer, know someone fighting it, or they’ve lost someone to it. It’s a venting sentiment.
Exactly. I watched my youngest sister die from breast cancer, and the F word is the nicest thing I can say about it. If buying one of those gift card would have helped save her life, I would have bought thousands of them and given them away.

I like DD and go there regularly.

However, this card is not about cancer. Most of us have had love ones die from it and yet for a major coffee shop to sell a gift card with vile language is not appropriate no matter what. It demeans people.

Many on these forums have no problem with language but others do so it is up to the people who do have a problem with this card to let DD know how they feel. Dunkin donuts would sell lots of cards if it simply said “support a cure” and a portion of the sale went for a cure.

If it’s not about cancer what is it about?

Dude, this campaign is long over. You’re tilting at windmills.

Actually it is about cancer. Specifically. Not only that but the bad word isn’t even spelled out…
I don’t know why this bothers you so much…
Perhaps you are fixating on it too much.

There are 11,000 dunkin donuts in 33 countries so this is a major coffee shop.

You say it is not spelled but if we asked 100 people on CAF what the giftcard says I will guaranteed all 100 will guest the same thing. This is pretty spelled out to me

I am not fixated. DD does a great deal of charity for cancer and children’s cancer in particular. I just don’t get what they chose such a vile giftcard to represent their cause.

If you go to Etsy, these tee shirts hats, etc are all over the site for sale but still this does not help.

It’s not vile. It’s off color, perhaps distasteful. I don’t even drink coffee and I’m on a diet, but tomorrow morning, I’m gonna have to get one of those cards, and just perhaps a doughnut.

Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone…🙂

Off color is S***. This is vile and from a major corporation who certainly could do better.

This tee shirts hats etc are all over on Pinterest, Amazon, Etsy, Ebay everywhere so there is no shortage of vile language and it really helps no one with cancer.

Prayer to our Lord is the greatest power in the world.

It can bring comfort, compassion, and even miraculous healing if the Lord so wills it.

Humble prayer glorifies the Lord.

If I ever see a real outrage, you are my go to pitchfork and torch hype person!

I hope you are this active on real issues!

Thank you. I think that is what I will do on this once I call DD. Just pray about it.

Been active for years. Not only that but I think it takes away from the real issue which is cancer, hurts doesn’t help.

Will just pray about it.

Let me start by saying that I like Dunkin Donuts coffee.

This is a very sad story about a 38 woman with 6 children with breast cancer and she is advertising a card to sell to fund some research but the card is obscene. Hope I can post this here as I could not believe Dunkin Donuts would put out such a card.

Dunkin Donuts needs to clear this up quickly .

Went to DD to get a gift card. I was told that promotion ended. I asked if they would bring them back and the guy said he thought so because they sold out fast. I have my doubts. Alas, no gift card. But I did get a few doughnuts!

Oh, but it’s just “locker room” talk. 🤷
