I don’t know why but my Rosaries always fall apart. Would anyone happen to know of where I can find a durable Rosary? Thanks and God bless.

Have you ever thought of using a finger rosary. I keep mine in my pocket.

A lot of rosaries are made out of 22 or 21 gauge wire, it might be better to get one made out of habit wire (18 or 19 gauge). I have one that was given to me for my first communion, which I had solely up till my confirmation during those years when I was oh so careful with things. The piece that finally broke (last year when I jammed it in a door) was the centerpiece and the wire hasn’t even started to look bent out of shape 👍

Have you tried one of these??

RA provides all twine rosaries free of cost. This is a wonderful apostolate, & believe me, the rosaries are not breakable! Except for attaching a crucifix, the entire rosary is one piece of #36 nylon rosary twine. (This is the thickness of twine used for commercial fishing nets).
A rosary of this kind should last practically forever…

I had the same problem with my rosary falling apart until I re-built it. My problem was the loop connecting the beads together pulled apart very easily. After looking around online, I found that if you wrap the wire around it self, then there is practically no way to open up again. (Called Wire Wrap Technique) Go here for a picture. I put three wraps on each side of the bead to signify the Trinity. If you search on Rosary Wire Wrap, you will find many references to people who will give lifetime warrenties on the rosaries they sell. It does make a longer rosary. I did mine myself for around $20 including buying the tools I needed from Hobby Lobby.

My DH carries a “rope” rosary… it’s cord with knots tied in it…

He has a tendency to leave his rosaries in his pockets… and not find them again until they come out of the dryer! LOL…

The rope rosaries tend to hold up through the wash really well! 👍
