I e-mail my husband fairly often, but I was thinking about how this is somewhat of a strange practice, considering we live together and all.
I was just curious if others do the same. If so, what kind of e-mails do you send?

I don’t e-mail my husband, but we do chat to each other all the time on AIM, even when we’re in the same room. 🙂 We both talk (out loud) and chat online, about anything and everything. I don’t think it’s weird at all, just changing times and circumstances.

I wish I could but they are both in Heaven, I pray!, God Bless, Memaw

I said occasionally, because we only email when he is deployed. When he’s deployed we email A LOT LOT LOT. We have both downloaded Skype, so that may cut down on emails this coming up deployment.

Not married but if I was I would say I’d never. I hardly even email people I don’t see on a daily basis.

When he is deployed I will sometimes but he doesn’t always have email access. When he is home or away at training I never do. I am more the type to return an email if he sends one. We do write letters to each other and we text or call almost everyday. During deployments the letters still happen, but calls are rare and texts are never so email is more likely. If I do send an email it us usually something that is important that needs attention ASAP, and that way I’m more likely to get a call that evening or at lest within the next few days.

I voted very often, but only because that was the only choice that included the addition " on a wide variety of subjects". In reality I only occasionally email but it is on a wide variety of subjects. Could be just to tell him I love him, or to send him a link to something interesting or just to send him a reminder. Although I tend to text reminders over email.

Seldom for me…he just never remembers his password…so I gave up.
He does respond well to text messages though 😃

I only do it when we are both on drill weekends. We work in different buildings and he’s not allowed to have his cell phone for his job so e-mail is the quickest way to say hi or see when he is headed to lunch. Otherwise, never

DH is very busy during the day and, unless it is a dire emergency, is usually not available to take phone calls about family matters. He does, however, check his email at least hourly. I can always be sure that my message gets through via email.

I work and my husband stays home. When I am at work it is just a lot easier to send quick e-mails during the day because I can see his response while I’m at my desk. It’s also doesn’t really take time away from the work I need to be doing, whereas calls require stopping my work.

We do, but it’s mostly for practical things that’ll take longer than a text message. The exception to that is when he’s out of the country for business–then email is really the only way we can communicate.

Occasionally I will Email my wife some news story, or something that might pertain to her work. The last Email I sent her was just telling her how much I loved her and appreciate the sacrifices she makes.

I send him links for fun and practical stuff, but I text him if I need an answer because he can’t always check his email.

I am very happy when my wife emails me and vice versa. Yes, we talk. But we have busy schedules and often appointments or other key information is best in an email where we can have it on our phones and go back and check it. We have few problems when we put key information in emails, and leave emotional stuff, dates, discussions about our elderly parents (but even then, some of the technical stuff goes in text messages or emails) for the face to face time.

You are a keeper.😉

Let us know when Baby arrives, Prayers for Mom and Baby. God Bless, Memaw

All the time. I am rarely at my desk during the day and it is easier to swap emails than to try to take phone calls during meetings.
