Ear piercing:yes or no???

I am wondering what the Catholic view is on women piercing their ears? I was raised in a faith that did not allow this (never understood why). Is there scripture that says that you can or can’t? Help me please!:confused:
 
Hi,

It’s a cultural thing. Many saints, including St.Terese of Liseux, had pierced ears. The Church does not comment on piercings unless they are extreme.
