Earliest time to leave Mass

Hello, this coming Ash Wednesday, I’ve got a qiestion on when the earliest acceptable time to leave Mass is. There’s a mass at a local parish which begins at 6:30 (am) and would therefore end around 7:30. The issue is that I have to be elsewhere, by bike, at 7:39(7:45 at latest, if I’m lucky) to catch a bus. As the Church is on the route I take to the stop, it’s a possibility I’d be able to get to said stop leaving with the general congregation, but it might push it. So when would the earliest time of leaving the Mass, without being disrespectful be?
 
That’s a question you should ask the pastor or presiding priest at the mass. And since it is mass and distribution of ashes, it may be a different timeline than a normal mass.

Perhaps attending a different mass later in the day, without pressure to be somewhere a true a specific time, might be a better option.
 
Most churches have several masses on Ash Wed. Try for a late afternoon or eve. mass on your way home. Be at peace if you can’t make the Sacramental service. me
 
As has been stated, Ash Wednesday is not a day of obligation. Should be a day of fasting.

Earlier in Church practice, those not yet confirmed would be excused after the Liturgy of the Word. So, following the sermon.
 
By all means, leave when you need to. Don’t have scruples about this. No one should judge you. No one knows why you are leaving. Sit in the back of the church or chapel, to be less disruptive, if that is your concern.
 
Many parishes have the imposition of ashes outside of mass. So you could get your ashes without attending mass.
