Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone - particularly our Maronite and other Syriac-speaking brethren - might know where I can find a more affordable copy of Chorbishop Seely Beggiani’s book Early Syriac Theology: With Special Reference to the Maronite Tradition, as well as his book Introduction to Eastern Christian Spirituality: The Syriac Tradition. I’ve been curious about these books for some time, but they’ve always been way out of my price range. I’ve found them on Amazon, but the first one is currently going for way more than I can justify.

I’d appreciate any and all help. 🙂

I’m not sure if it works, Phillip, but a little search gave me this for the first. Give it a try. 😉
 
If you have access to one, many university library systems can loan it to you.

Sorry, Phillip, but I didn’t realize at first that this was a P2P “shared” file. Frankly I was leery of the “password” part so I just nosed around a little and wasn’t exactly thrilled with what I found. Seems to me the library route might be the best. Try here to see if there’s one handy to you.
