Earning Patience

Discerning my vocation awhile and cannot seem to stop overanalyzing every experience, perhaps because I don’t want to miss what the Lord may be calling me to do. As a result, I forget to take care of myself simply and listen patiently through devoted prayer with Him. I’m stubborn enough to be blinded by what I cannot seem to find. It’s like I know what to do through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, but actually putting it into practice takes a lot of effort sometimes on my part.

^Please pray for me to let go of all of this somehow & accept that this may be a gradual discernment process… that His will WILL be. Also, anyone else experiencing this, please pray for him/her too.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your discernment.

Prayer for Resignation to God’s Will**

Lord, if what I seek be according to our will, then let it come to pass and let success attend the outcome. But if not, my God, let it not come to pass. Do not leave me to my own devices, for you know how unwise I can be. Keep me safe under your protection Lord my God, and in your own gentle way guide me and rule me as you know best.
Amen.

Thank you all.

Currently experiencing peace amid trying to take things slow by taking care of self simply before others. Also making time more with Christ & being content where life is… changes are continuing. Thank you again for the prayers. May God continue to bless you all. 🙂
