Well, if you really want to create more geniuses, why not support eugenics then?
Because this is a Web site about Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular.

Eugenics was central to Hitler’s philosophy … The Nazi campaign to eradicate the Jews was a massive eugenics program.

In the English speaking world, one of the greatest proponents of eugenics was Margaret Sanger, founder of “Planned Parenthood”. And she was both an atheist and a promoter of eugenics.

Interested folks might want to read chapter 6 of “Salvation Is From The Jews” by Roy Schoeman.

The Earth Charter is not compatible with Catholic teaching. Please see the website of the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Conservation Center for more information about the Charter and why it should not be endorsed by Catholics. The Center website has a page devoted to exposing the truth of the Earth Charter, which includes quotes from Church leaders.

Hi,
I felt the need to enter into this forum thread because I see so much misinformation.
The Earth Charter is just a declaration of ethical and action oriented principles, with the ideat to help people and organizations to move to more sustainable ways of living, producing, consuming.
It is the result of a long a wide global participatory process. People from different religions participated, that is why it is secular, it is not linked with any specific religion.

The Earth Charter doesn’t take any stand on abortion, so I don’t know why people here are connecting it with this topic. Here is the statement about this:

earthcharterinaction.org/invent/images/uploads/The%20Earth%20Charter%20and%20Responsible%20Reproduction.pdf

Reproductive health is not synonym of abortion, I think we all have the right when pregnant to have access to a supportive health system.

As a Catholic, I don’t see any controversy between the Catholic teachings and the EC. Read it through and you will see.

I want to add that extraction of alluminum is super environmentally destructive process, we should try to avoid using alluminum since so many forests are destroyed to get this, and many people get affected by it.

It’s sad to see that most technological ‘advances’ are really destroying our environment, and thus destroying us. Maybe if we live simpler lives, because at the end, is not what we have what is important, is who we are, our relationships and of course our relationship with God.
It only takes one or two geniuses to make quantum improvements in the world economy.

But not if we abort them in the womb.

There is no reason why folks who understand biology, chemistry and physics cannot develop additional processes for conversion of commonly available materials into liquid fuels. Just keep in mind before doing this in your basement, … that this stuff is volatile, flammable and explosive. [Don’t do this at your home basement laboratory.]

Folks interested in all this application of technology to new processes, should read about Hall who converted aluminum from a precious metal into a common everyday household product. Aluminum is one of the most commonly available elements in the earth’s crust, yet until Hall came along it was locked up and unavailable.

These are geniuses who devised fabulous economic progress through technology. They didn’t sit around and say that the world’s population must be reduced. They worked at applying their genius to solve problems facing humanity.

One wonders how many geniuses have been killed in the womb by abortion. Perhaps one of those killed babies might have come up with a new process for creating a liquid fuel from our earth’s crust using hydro power or solar or cosmic radiation.

AND … just in case someone gets the idea that we need abortion to eliminate undesireable unwanted deformed babies who grow up to be deformed adults who produce nothing, … read about the work of Charles Steinmetz:

Not to mention Edison or Westinghouse.

The notion that each and every human being is valuable derives from life as a Gift from God. A miracle. Every heartbeat and every breath is a miraculous gift.

Have you ever considered that the “construction” … the way the Planet Earth is constructed … is a miracle in itself???

Would any rational and reasonable earthling have “designed” the Planet Earth the way it appears to be actually built?

With a flaming hot, molten rock core … 7000 miles in diameter and a paper thin crust that insulates us from the heat.

I hate to tell you this, but that heat and magnetic field are energy sources. The Planet Earth is a virtual infinite source of energy.

Get to work and start to tap into it.

Someone figured out how to extract aluminium at almost no cost. Remember aluminum (or aluminium as the rest of the world spells it.).

So get to work, show us your brilliance and get that geothermal and magnetic energy harnessed!

Either that … OR … join the “Man Will Never Fly” club. It meets at Kitty Hawk, NC on the day before the anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight.

[Maybe YOU could be the inventor of the Warp Coil! ]
