I have read revelation before and although it talks about the end of a specific age. I have noticed the Bible doesn’t talk about a particular end to planet earth.

This begs me to ask the Question is earth itself supposed to be eternal?
Does the Church teach that earth is eternal?

This Earth - no.

The New Earth to come - yes.
 
Earth will be transformed into heaven after the resurrection of the dead.
