sound of feet dragging… I’m not even smart enough to use well my smart phone… I do wish someone in my parish had copied it. If this weren’t Holy week for us I’d maybe have had more focus and gotten someone in my much larger Latin parish to copy it. Maybe I’ll discover someone did.DVR’s. The only way to go…![]()
If you can use this forum, you can use a DVR. Its far easier than a smart phone. Chances are also that EWTN will replay the show. You might check the listings on their website to see.sound of feet dragging… I’m not even smart enough to use well my smart phone… I do wish someone in my parish had copied it. I didn’t know that!Light of the East is back on EWTN, and at a reasonable hour too.
There is also a Maronite program called Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon.
EWTN’s Youtube page is very good and worth a look. Many of their older shows are archived there. Is anyone aware of a way to view the series “Light of the East” either through EWTN or in some video library online? I have been attending the Divine Liturgy with my family at Sts Cyril and Methodius, where Father Sopaliga is the pastor, and we are very interested. I want to watch the whole series, all 15 shows, but I have only found three, which were loaned to me by Father.
That’s great you’re in Fr. Mike’s parish. It’s a wonderful series. I wish he and his buddy Fr. Joseph Bertha could do a new series for EWTN.Is anyone aware of a way to view the series “Light of the East” either through EWTN or in some video library online? That is probably an old archived page going back several years at least to when The Light of the East did run weekly. Now they only show segments around Advent/Nativity and Lent/Pascha as far as I can tell.
I think that’s correct, 5Loaves. The original series is no longer run regularly. That is probably an old archived page going back several years at least to when The Light of the East did run weekly. Now they only show segments around Advent/Nativity and Lent/Pascha as far as I can tell.
