From what I know, tomorrow is Trinity Sunday… the last day we can do the Easter Duty if I’m not wrong?

I’ve been struggling with this scruples quite at a high intensity since Easter and i haven’t been able to receive communion since then because I feel like I committed mortal sin by going against my conscience (my conscience was telling me to do some really bizarre things ). I knew that acting against my conscience was a sin and still did it anyway.

I’m afraid I won’t be ready to receive by tomorrow. Is it possible to complete my Easter Duty some other time this year?

“Easter Duty” can be completed between Ash Wednesday and the end of Easter Season, inclusive. I’ve seen that extended as far as Corpus Christi.

Stop focusing on your self and trust in the mercy of God. Go to Confession and trust in the efficacy of the Sacrament as prescribed by Jesus Christ, the Third Person of the Trinity.

Easter duty, according to canon law, can be fulfilled at some other time of the year, if there is a a just reason. The reason you give is more than sufficient. So you may satisfy your duty to receive Communion at Mass any time of the year.

Can. 920 §1. After being initiated into the Most Holy Eucharist, each of the faithful is obliged to receive holy communion at least once a year.
§2. This precept must be fulfilled during the Easter season unless it is fulfilled for a just cause at another time during the year.
