Quick question, and would like well-documented advice rather than opinions. I’m sure the answer is short and definitive, but I haven’t had a spare moment to research it.
A local parish has been using the Sequence from Easter Sunday for the Masses during the Octave (at the appropriate place, between the psalm and the Gospel). I know that the Gloria is to be said throughout the Octave, and the Te Deum, and in other ways these Masses are analogous to the Sunday. However, I have never come across this practice before. Is it licit?
