Easter Sunday Mass has to be one of my favorites

I just got back from Mass a little while ago, and I have to say that Easter Sunday has to be one of my favorite Masses. The church was standing room only, and the people were belting out all of the Easter hymns with the choir. It’s just so moving to see all those people and sing to the rafters all the triumphal Easter hymns. I love it.
 
I also love Mass on Easter morning! I try to get to the earliest one possible because it makes me feel as if I’m in tune with Mary Magdelene as she rushed to Jesus’ tomb and discovered (to her initial horror and sadness) that it was empty - and then to rejoicing!!!
 
I went to both an Ordinary Form then later an Extraordinary Form Mass for Easter Sunday. Both done well and 2 of my favorite hymns were sung: Jesus Christ is Risen Today (at both) and Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee (that was at Ordinary Form only). It was nice to see people dressed up of all ages and see many there too at both churches I went to.
