Winter: Christmas

Spring: Easter

Summer: Assumption and Coronation of Our Lady

Fall: Exaltation of the Holy Cross

In Australia, Easter would be an autumn festival. :):)🙂

Why not Easter as a spring festival? God created the seasons of the year, and He saw fit that our LORD would begin His resurrectional life in spring (as defined in the northern hemisphere, where His human life was lived).

Easter comes from the older English name for the Month of April, “Eosturmonath”. It was translated to “Paschal Month”.

For Christianity, there are four penitential periods before four great feasts (although not all are observed by all Christians):

Christmas and Epiphany (Theophany) - December 25 and January 6
Easter (Pascha)
Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul - June 29
Dormition (Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary) - August 15
