Sorry for the silly question…But at the moment I am still in England. I will go with my two 6 years kids to the Easter Vigil and First Mass of Easter… How this is done in U.K. ? How will it last?

I don’t know about the UK specifically, but the Easter Vigil is a long affair. A beautiful one, and one I love to go to, but it can take several hours depending upon the number of readings they do, the amount of “pomp,” and the number of elect receiving the sacraments of initiation. The Easter Day masses will generally be a bit shorter. I only mention this because it’s something to consider when you have two six year olds.

Thank you ; yes I was asking just that I was worried for the kids…I will stay as longer as I can…

I would really advise missing the Easter Vigil. It can be very long, as pp have said already, and not meant for children.

The Easter Sunday Masses will be the same as an ordinary Sunday Mass in effect, as regards to length - indeed, in my experience (I’m in the UK) they are shorter, as quite often the homily is very brief.
