Hi everyone. I’m looking for some help here. In 2003, I had the joy of being able to attend the Easter Vigil at Franciscan University of Steubenville. It was, in a word, incredible. I was shocked when I came out and looked at my watch to see that we had been there for 4.5 hours. It literally felt like 10 minutes to me. Anyway, I have scoured the internet since then trying to find the Psalm settings that they used for that Mass and have come up empty.
Speaking more generally, I’ve scoured the internet for good Psalm settings for the Easter Vigil and have likewise, more or less, come up empty.
Does anyone know where I might find good Psalm settings that can be used in next year’s Easter Vigil? As a bare minimum requirement, the text must correspond EXACTLY to the text given in the Lectionary. Beyond that, I have personal preferences regarding tone and melody, but I’d rather not have this thread devolve into a musical debate. I’m just looking for a number of Psalm tones that I can sift through over the next several months before beginning preparations on next year’s vigil.
Thanks in advance!
