Just a tip; you might want to use whatever the name is that “Harry” stands for (one is assuming “Harold” but one doesn’t like to guess at these things), since “Harry Mary” sounds very weird. “Harold Mary” sounds much more cool, though. 😉
Alas, “Harry” is the name on my birth certificate, and is also my Father’s name, so I feel more or less obligated to retain it. In any case, in Normal usage, middle names are rarely spelled out, and Harry M. Andruschak should raise no problems, although Catholics might be amused at HM Andruschak:rolleyes:

Sorry , but this is too funny!:rotfl:
Thanks though, I have depression and haven’t laughed in weeks.

As a matter of fact…yes…I am quite serious about it. Just not sure what is needed in terms of time and money.
I would also like to change my middle name to Mary. My current middle name is the one by father gave me when I was born, and so happens to be his. It’s not uniquely mine. Plus, factor into that equation that through bitter trials (and a divorce), my father and I haven’t had anything to do with one another since I was 12, basically.

However, it seems like it’d be a really big hassle changing one’s middle name and then letting credit card companies, insurance companies, employers, and banks know that I’m no longer who I say I am. :ehh:

It’s been years ago but my Confirmation name is Catherine after Catherine of Siena. Most of the girls in my class wanted Cecilia that year, so I was swimming against the tide (seems like I’ve done this all my life).

If I remember, it’s not at all uncommon for men in European countries to have Mary as part of their names (Josemaria Olazabal the golfer for instance) and I think that even Voltaire had Marie in his name somewhere.

Now I feel bad, I’m truely sorry.
Don;t feel bad, and don’t feel sorry. Try to remember the AA attitude that God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free. “We are not a glum lot, we absolutely insist on enjoying sobriety.”

Well…I wasn’t allowed to have 2 confirmation names like I wanted (Mary Therese), so I took Therese. I was surprised that no one else took either Mary or Therese in my class. Many used their own names.
