Does the Easter Vigil count as mass for Easter Sunday
He might be uncertain because of the unusual circumstances last year when Christmas fell on a Monday last year, and we had to go to Mass twice. Is there some reason you think it wouldn’t?
I can see how it might be confusing at first. Of course the Easter Vigil is actually the first of the Easter Masses, not a “Holy Saturday Mass.”1ke:![]()

Honestly, I don’t see how that is relevant. Easter is always on Sunday. He might be uncertain because of the unusual circumstances last year when Christmas fell on a Monday last year, and we had to go to Mass twice.
Was there actually a requirement? I thought that when a Holy Day of Obligation fell on Saturday or Monday that the requirement to attend Mass on the specific day was lifted. He might be uncertain because of the unusual circumstances last year when Christmas fell on a Monday last year, and we had to go to Mass twice
