Well, it depends where you live and when the sun rises. It is a normal Easter morning Mass. It can be inside or outside the church. The Easter Vigil Mass is Saturday night when baptisms and confirmations are done and new people received into the Catholic Church.
I like the Easter Vigil too, but you should have plenty of Masses to choose from
Sunday morning.

The requirement is that the Mass take place entirely at night. As long as the Mass concludes before morning light, it is licit to convene at midnight.

When Easter is this late, locations north of 60 degrees north latitude don’t experience true night.
Svalbard, Norway is even under midnight sun by April 21. I understand the intention, but darkness is not always feasible.

I don’t understand. Was this conversation about Tierra del Fuego and Nome, Alaska? I’m talking specifically about the US.

IF it is impossible, it is impossible. Where it is possible, it is commanded.

Readings in the morning will be different if Mass starts after sunrise.

You can check for a Latin Mass parish in your area. They often start the Easter Vigil later because they like to end the mass after midnight

Thank you… 😦 I found out Easter Vigil Son has to work, no one will swap with him so he can be there…
They sure do know where to go when they want off, they go to my son and my son does it to help him but they will not do it so he can be there for Easter Vigil…
Big day for him like that and no one will swap Saturday so he can go… He even told them he would still work that Sunday…
I have no idea what will happen now…

That is really terrible of them! Did he tell his boss and workers why he needs to be off?
I don’t know what kind of work he does, or what would happen, but I would take a sick day that day.

Yes but she told him since they have schedules out for the month already that the only way is for him to swap 😦 Since he is off this coming weekend I told him at our last RCIA class talk to Deacon, and see what can be done…

That would not be right because that would be a lie… But when they do call in sick they need a note.

No, I meant does someone else come in, or are they just short one person. Because if they are capable of working with one person short, it is just mean to not let him off.
