This is from another site. I couldn’t pass up finding the responces by some of our faithful Posters.

Here it is… “When our parish had “Mass on the Grass” for Easter (a very well attended Mass in a local park that showed the public our Catholic faith) one year someone came to this Mass dressed in an Easter Bunny costume. The priest did refuse this person-in-costume Holy Communion”

Can you imagine a Pagan Bunny coming up for Communion? My Priest would probably laugh as he ushered him aside. Saying," No Rabbits allowed here!"

Well, if the bunny in question is in a state of Grace 😉 . But then again Holy Communion is only for Catholic human beings and an Easter Bunny is not or…:hmmm:

Hwey did you guys see the brovas break dancing for the Pope last week. I tell you. Vatican two has gotten us going around in circles so that we cant tell the difference between Mass and all the other stuff. It is hard sometimes to tell if something Coginabley Christian is going on?

Any further information on this? What was the exact reason? Did that person want to receive on the tongue? Perhaps the person was wearing gloves? Does anyone know the rule on that?

SuZ

PS The correct term is “receive”
