Do Eastern Catholics venerate Mary like we do? What kinds of things do they do? Do they pray the rosary or things like that?
Speaking from my experience as a Maronite in Australia (although I practice predominantly Latin rite), there is a huge (and I mean huge) devotion to Our Lady in the Maronite church.

In terms of what the Maronites do:
  • Rosary and Rosary groups (Groups of people who go to different peoples homes to recite the Rosary and other prayers such as the litany of Our lady)
  • If you go to a Maronite church, chances are it is filled with statues and pictures of Our Lady.
  • They have some of the most Beautiful hymns dedicated to our Lady, one of the most famous being “Ya Oum Allah” roughly translates to “Oh mother of God”.
