Eastern Catholics and Orthodox at March for Life DC 2013

Does anybody have any information about the Orthodox priests who sang for Nellie Gray today at the march?

It was beautiful and I wanted to know more about it.

Was it a panikhida for her? Where did you see it? Hopefully someone got it and will post to Youtube.

I don’t know - I checked youtube yesterday and couldn’t find anything.

It was a chant and they were saying “Nelllie Gray (sp?)” and “memorandum” or something of the sort.

It made me cry.

The Orthodox priests were with the Archbishop of Boston.

Great pictures! The priests in the pictures were the ones singing for Nellie Gray.

I just love the “headwear” worn by the Orthodox priests and lay people.

I am assuming these priests are Eastern Orthodox? (meaning not of the Roman rite?)
Does anyone know more about what churches these priests are from?

I hope someone puts it on youtube if it isn’t there already!
