Anyone on these forums tried the site www.meetup.com? It’s a great social networking site, their motto is “use the internet to get off the internet”. It’s a great tool for organizing discussion groups and such.
I just recently started a meetup for Young Orthodox and Eastern Catholics. Please spread the word!

Eastern Orthodox/Eastern Catholic Young Adults (21+)
Meet other young Eastern Christian young adults in the Chicago area! This is not a Bible study group; just people coming together for fun and friendship. This groups is open to Eastern Orthodox, Eastern Catholics, and other Christians who are interested in the Christian tradition of the East (i.e. Roman Catholics, etc). Social events will take place both in Chicago. Suggestions are encouraged!
